Salford Red Devils lend a helping hand to Home-Start this Christmas

Members of the Salford Red Devils men’s and women’s teams have been lending a hand at local charity, Home-Start Trafford, Salford & Wigan.

They are a locally run, voluntary organisation operating as an independent Charitable Company, strategically managed by a Board of Trustees, made up of local professional volunteers.

As the festive season gets into full swing, Home-Start have received some brilliant toy donations from local organisations and corporate partners.

They then had less than 24 hours to make up 200 sacks of toys to the children who they are currently supporting, before delivering to families in the hope of making Christmas less stressful for parents.

Adam Sidlow, Ollie Partington, Matty Foster, Summer Harris, Abi Collins and Laura Bent went down to their centre earlier this week to help organise and fill the sacks of presents.
