After a nervy, but important win against Hull FC last time out, a meeting with one of the competition’s form sides was a good test of the team’s metal going into a crucial run of fixtures.

Broncos have started 2025 in flying form; winning four and drawing one of their opening five games, sitting just a point behind table toppers, Featherstone Rovers.

Two quick-fire tries at either end of the first forty kept the scoreboard ticking over for the visitors, despite Jadine McVernon crossing for the Reds at the start of the second-half.
