After back-to-back defeats, it was important the team turned a corner ahead of a tricky stretch of fixtures in their quest for the playoffs.

Two tries from Cailey Miller broke open the contest after a cagey first twenty minutes, with Anna Dennis extending the girls’ lead just before half-time on her return from injury.

Winger, Lily Gray dotted down her first of the season just after the break to push the lead to 20; what proved to be an unassailable one, despite a late rally from the Black & White’s.

Next up for the women is the visit of second place, London Broncos, for what will be a great test of the team’s progress so far this season.
